About the Journal
The Rivista Italiana di Politiche Pubbliche – RIPP, also known as the Italian Journal of Public Policy, aims to establish a forum for studying the dynamics through which contemporary political systems and societies attempt to tackle and solve problems of collective relevance. While paradigms and concepts developed by political scientists in the Policy Sciences (e.g., rational policy analysis, interpretative approaches, comparative public policy, etc.) are likely to play an important role in defining the journal’s focus, its approach is inherently multidisciplinary. This multidisciplinary approach will help build conditions where social scientists dealing with policy analysis from a variety of perspectives can converse with practitioners (professionals, politicians, and administrators), exchanging experiences and comparing approaches and methods.
