About the Journal

Politica Economica – Journal of Economic Policy (PEJEP) aims to serve as a key reference for the publication of original research in all areas of economic policy, with a particular focus on Italy and the European Union. The journal welcomes both theoretical and applied articles, covering topics in both macroeconomics and microeconomics. It publishes contributions that propose new economic policy measures as well as analyses or evaluations of existing policies, also from a comparative perspective.

PEJEP values methodological diversity and encourages submissions that demonstrate awareness of the institutional context, financial constraints, and political economy dynamics. In doing so, it seeks to enhance the impact and relevance of economic analysis in public debate and in the policymaking process.

Articles may be written in either Italian or English, depending on the topic addressed. The journal may organize contributions into special issues dedicated to themes of particular interest for academic economists, those working in economic and political institutions, and policymakers.

Rights and authorizations. Authors having a contribution accepted for publication must fill and sign this letter of authorization. The letter must be returned to the Journal. If the letter is not returned, the contribution may be precluded its being published.
Policies regarding re-use of articles can be found also on Sherpa/Romeo.
