Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

• The submission has not been previously published elsewhere, nor is it currently submitted to other journals.
• The author declares that she/he has read and accepted the journal's Guidelines (PEMS) about publishing ethics (https://www.rivisteweb.it/publisherEthics).
• The author declares that no artificial intelligence systems were used in the production of this article, except as a mere aid and, in any case, in full compliance with legislation on copyright and transparency in the use of artificial intelligence. Subject to this guarantee, the author undertakes to declare any auxiliary use of AI (such as the creation of indexes, notes or keywords, the creation of images or the writing of portions), the modalities and purposes of which will be declared at the time the article is submitted to the Journal.
• The author warrants not to input, process or otherwise use the article (in whole or in part) – or to permit third parties to do so – through artificial intelligence tools or systems, unless such tools or systems ensure, through appropriate contractual, organisational and technical safeguards, that the article is not communicated, disseminated or made accessible to third parties in any form; it is not used, even in aggregated or anonymised form, for the purposes of training, developing, improving or validating AI models, algorithms or systems; it is not retained for longer than is strictly necessary for the performance of the service requested by the Author.
• The author declares that she/he has obtained the necessary written authorizations to reproduce any illustrations and photographs accompanying the article and that they have delivered a copy to the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal.
• The submission file is in editable file format, such as Microsoft Word, OpenOffice or RTF.
• The submission includes a separate Title Page with author information, affiliation and contacts, as well as a 150-word abstract and a list of up to 7 keywords
• The Main File is anonymous: all direct and indirect references to the author’s identity have been removed.
• The text is formatted according to the Editorial Guidelines (https://goo.gl/Y9qW4H).
• The reference section is formatted according to the Editorial Guidelines (https://goo.gl/Y9qW4H).
• Insertion points are clearly marked for all illustrations, figures, and tables.
• For all reproduced materials adequate permissions have been secured from copyright holders.
• The author is aware and accepts that the article may be published in advance of the issue to which it is destined, in Early Access mode on the journal's page on www.rivisteweb.it.
